What is VoDialer

VoDialer AI runs outbound and inbound calls for a call centre. It was built for US Medicare and health-insurance outreach. Bots make the first calls. Your licensed agents take the calls that are worth a person’s time. Every call is recorded, checked and reported on.

Blue steps are done by a bot. Green is done by a person on your team. Grey steps are automatic.
  1. List. You add the people you want to call, usually from a file.
  2. Check. VoDialer checks each person before anyone is called, and holds back the ones it must not call.
  3. First call. A bot, the Fronter, phones the person, says hello and finds out whether they are a fit.
  4. Verification. A second bot, the Verifier, confirms the details the Fronter heard.
  5. Licensed agent. The call is handed to a licensed agent on your team, who gets a short spoken summary.
  6. Quality check. The QA Bot scores the call, and your quality reviewers listen to the ones that matter.

You can switch steps on or off per campaign. The Medicare preset turns them all on.

A journey is one record that follows one person through all six steps. The first bot writes down what the person said. The next bot, the agent and the reviewer all read the same record. Nobody asks the person the same question twice.

The rules below are written into the instructions every bot gets, and they are rebuilt for every call.

  • It says it is an AI when asked. If someone asks whether they are talking to a person, a robot or an AI, the bot says plainly that it is an AI, a virtual assistant, and carries on.
  • It never claims to be human. Where your rules require it, the opening line also says “a virtual assistant”.
  • It stops when asked. If the person says to stop calling, the bot apologises once, confirms they will not be called again and ends the call. The number goes on your do-not-call list at that moment, not at the end of the call.
  • It does not invent. No made-up prices, hours, benefits or facts about the person.
  • It does not take payment details. It never asks for card numbers, bank details or passwords, and never reads a Social Security or full Medicare number aloud.
  • It does not sell. The Fronter and Verifier do not present or compare plans. That is for the licensed agent.
  • Platform operators see every published bot version and whether the rules above are in it. They can suspend a version, and calls then stop using it.
  • Quality reviewers and compliance staff can listen to recordings and read transcripts.
  • Compliance staff and managers can read the audit log and export an evidence pack for any journey.
