Before you call real people

VoDialer enforces the rules you set, on every call. It does not decide what the rules should be, and it does not make you compliant. This list covers what to settle first. Each line says why, and links to the page that does it.

  • Counsel has reviewed the rules and the wording. The starting rules are placeholders. Your own lawyer should confirm each one. See rules and counsel review.
  • Official time-zone data is loaded. Calling hours depend on knowing where a person lives. See calling hours and time zones.
  • Your consent sources are verified. A call needs a proof that the person agreed to be called. Check where each proof comes from. See consent proof.
  • Do-not-call lists are loaded. Federal, state and litigator lists come from the platform; your own list is yours. See do-not-call and global compliance data.
  • Caller IDs are registered and attested. Carriers and phones judge calls by the number they show. See caller IDs.
  • A carrier has agreed in writing to call-centre traffic. Some carriers close accounts that dial in volume. See adding a carrier.
  • A second carrier is ready. One carrier can block you without warning, and you need somewhere to send calls. See numbers and carriers.
  • Recording consent wording is decided. In states where everyone must agree, the bot asks for recording consent. Counsel should approve the words. See recordings and retention.
  • AI disclosure wording is decided. In places that require it, the bot says it is an AI in its opening. See honesty rules.
  • The dropped-call limit is reviewed. The 3% thresholds and the meaning of “answered by a person” are product choices, not reviewed by counsel. See the dropped-call rule.
  • A retention period is decided. The 10-year figure in the code is a placeholder. See recordings and retention.
  • Someone owns complaints. A complaint needs a person to look at it. See complaints.
  • A ramp plan is written. Start with a small list. Raise the volume in steps. Hold each step until the numbers are clean: few dropped calls, no complaints, no surprises in the held-back reasons.

Before real calls, try a few known numbers with Can I call this number right now? on the Safety overview. It only asks. It does not call and it does not use up an attempt. Try a number on your list, a number with no consent, and a number outside calling hours. Read the reason each time. The full set is on how every call is checked.
