Who does what

Every person in a company has one role. The role decides which parts of VoDialer they see. These are the names the product shows.

Role What they do
Owner Everything an admin does, plus the company’s billing and sub-accounts. A company always has at least one.
Admin Sets the company up: team, bots, numbers and carriers, integrations, campaigns and lists. Can give people any role except Owner.
Supervisor Starts, pauses and stops campaigns, watches the Live floor and can listen in, whisper to an agent or take over a call. Can also take calls at the desk. Cannot edit a campaign.
Agent Works at the desk: takes calls, saves a result for each one. Opens straight to the desk.
Licensed agent An agent who holds a licence for certain states and takes the calls handed to your team for those states.
Quality reviewer Listens to recordings, scores calls and sees results. Cannot see the Safety pages.
Compliance Reads and edits the Safety pages (calling rules, do-not-call list, consent proof), and can reveal full phone numbers.
Client viewer Read-only. Sees Home, campaigns and results, nothing else. Meant for the client you call for.

For the exact list of what each role can open and change, see roles and permissions.

  • Phone numbers are shown with only the last four digits. Only Owner, Admin and Compliance can reveal a full number.
  • A person can work in more than one company and have a different role in each. See signing in for how to switch.
  • Role changes apply on the person’s next action. Disabling someone signs them out of the company at once.
  • Platform operators belong to the VoDialer team, not to a company. They have their own roles. See platform overview.
