Preview and manual dialing
Do this
Section titled “Do this”- On the ready screen, look for a card named after your campaign: you choose who to call. It appears only when the campaign is a preview or manual one. See dialing modes.
- Click Get the next person.
- Read the card: name, state, phone number, and Not called before. or Called 2 times before.
- Click Dial to call, or Skip to pass.
- If No one can be called right now shows, click Check again later.
One person at a time
Section titled “One person at a time”You hold at most one person. The card says Held for you for a number of seconds. The hold lasts 60 seconds by default.
- If you click Get the next person again while holding someone, you get the same card. A double click never burns a person.
- If you neither dial nor skip in time, the person goes back to the campaign and you see The person you were holding went back to the campaign. They are tried again in 60 seconds and the hold does not count as an attempt.
- If you hold a person from another campaign, you see You are already holding a person from another campaign. Dial or skip them first.
Skip gives the person back. It does not count as a call. They are not offered to you again for 5 minutes. You then get a new card.
When Dial is refused
Section titled “When Dial is refused”The dial is checked against the same rules as every other call. If it fails, a red box gives the reason:
| You see | What to do |

Manual dialing rules
Section titled “Manual dialing rules”- You can dial only the person the card gives you. You cannot type a free number on the desk.
- Time-of-day rules apply to you exactly as they do to automatic dialing.
- When the call answers, you are connected directly, with no bot first.
