Three ways to work together

You do not have to replace VICIdial to use VoDialer. There are three ways to run them side by side. Ask two questions: who dials, and who closes?

Blue is a bot. Green is a person on your team. Grey is your own system. Yellow is designed but not built yet.

VoDialer places the calls from your list. A Fronter bot talks to each person. When someone qualifies, VoDialer puts them into your VICIdial as a lead, with the bot’s summary and the facts it confirmed, and calls your in-group. Your agents close in VICIdial as they do today.

You set it up with a VICIdial connection and a campaign step that sends the call to a VICIdial in-group. What data moves shows the order.

In this set-up, VICIdial keeps dialing. Our bot would take the answered calls as if it were a remote agent logged in to VICIdial.

Way C: your fronters hand to our Verifier bot

Section titled “Way C: your fronters hand to our Verifier bot”

Your fronters stay in VICIdial. They send the call to a phone number you own in VoDialer. A bot answers, confirms the details, and hands the call to your licensed agents.

What exists today:

  • A number can be routed to a bot, to a team queue, or to the campaign’s first step. See inbound numbers.
  • The bot then follows the campaign steps. The next step can be a team in VoDialer or an outside number or SIP address.
  • A call to an unknown number gets a new person in the campaign’s “Inbound” list.

What does not exist:

  • Nothing is specific to VICIdial. There is no VICIdial-side set-up and nothing carries your fronter’s notes to the bot.
  • VoDialer finds the person by the caller ID on the incoming call. If VICIdial shows a different number, the bot starts from a new record.
  • A route whose first step is an outside dialer is refused.
