Keyboard shortcuts

Letter and number shortcuts never fire while you are typing in a box, or while a dialog is open. They also ignore the key if Ctrl, Cmd or Alt is held. Where a screen exists in both designs, the new design is listed first.

Keys What it does
Cmd K (Mac) or Ctrl K Opens or closes the command bar. Type a page or action and press Enter. The new design says “Search pages and actions”, the classic one “Go to a page or run an action”. You only see pages your role may open.
Escape Closes the open dialog or the command bar. Focus returns to where you were.
Tab, then Enter on “Skip to content” The first Tab on a page shows a link that jumps past the menu (new design).

The results are numbered in the order shown, starting with Sale and ending with the failure codes. If your company changed its codes, the numbers follow the list on the screen. See saving a result and taking a hand-over.
