Start, pause and stop

  1. Open the campaign. Look for a warning box titled Before this can start. If it is there, fix each line first. The Start button stays off until it is gone.
  2. Select Start. A paused campaign shows Resume instead.
  3. Read the confirmation. It says how many people are waiting.
  4. Select Yes, start calling.

Real people are called as soon as you confirm. Owners, admins and supervisors can start, pause and stop.

Action Where What happens
Pause Pause button Nobody new is called. Calls already on the phone carry on until they finish. Resume carries on from where it was.
Stop Stop calling, in the menu “More about this campaign” Nobody new is called. Calls already on the phone finish normally. The campaign goes back to Ready. People who were not reached keep their place.

Stop drains the campaign: no new dials, and live calls finish. Starting again later is the same as the first start.

“Paused because there is no caller ID free to call from. Add or reactivate a number in Settings, then press Start.” Every number is resting, retired or at its daily cap. Add or reactivate a number.
“Paused because too many answered calls were dropped in the last 30 days (X% against the 3% limit). It can start again once that falls under 3%.” The rule paused it. Wait.
“Paused because the calling-rules check is not answering, so no calls are made. It carries on by itself when the check is back.” The safety checks failed five times in a row. Nothing: it resumes.

When a running campaign places nothing, a line under “Calling pace” says why. That list, and the heads-up banners, is in the campaign page.
